I found the most effective affirmation for whenever you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stressed or defeated. And I want to share this with you here.
It’s great for those moments when you feel like there’s no hope in sight or when you feel like everything is falling apart.
This affirmation is by the wonderful Louise Hay. I added this affirmation to my daily routine when I was going through a tough period in life. I would use it during a moment of despair, and after repeating the affirmation several times throughout the day, I started to gradually feel better. Now, whenever I need to bring myself back from a dark place, I simply repeat the words and feel better almost instantly.
As I was going through my dark thoughts, I decided to reach out to Louise Hay’s wisdom. I stumbled upon one of her audiobooks called, I Can Do It. It’s such a wonderful book full of wisdom and inspiring affirmations, but what stood out to me was this one particular affirmation, a recipe for instantly feeling better when you’re down and out.
Here’s the affirmation:
All is well.
Everything is working for my highest good.
Out of this situation only good will come.
I am safe.
I started repeating these words when I felt defeated and out of hope, and I’ve been repeating them every day since.
Whenever I start feeling anxious again or when I feel dark thoughts appearing again, I simply say these words out loud or quietly to myself. I even started writing the words down in my journal first thing in the morning.
I encourage you to try these affirmations yourself. If you feel hopeless, if you feel like there is no light at the end of the tunnel, if you’re struggling financially, if you have relationship issues, if you’re unemployed, whatever it is that you’re going through, use this affirmation to lift your energy state and feel better.

Repeat these words often. Especially in the beginning, when you need to rewire your thinking. Use these words like a mantra. I guarantee you will soon feel better.
And every time you get that funny feeling in your stomach or in your chest or wherever you feel discomfort in your body, just say these words.
Your situation is not as hopeless as you may think, and you will get through this.
Remember: Only good will come out of this situation, and you are safe. And all is well.
